This is a mural in a staircase in my home. It was painted at the end of the pandemic with help of two of my teachers. Nothing was more joyful than spending time together in person, drawing and painting this idyllic nature scene. The tree is a poplar tree in the garden, which likely grew from a seed carried by a bird, as no one planted it there.
All of the birds are species local to the area - can you spot the red cardinal and the blue jay?
